55 mph

Today I just need to vent a little...
All those who drive along Redwood Road here in WX and NSL should know by now that the speed limit is 55 mph from 5th south all the way down until you pass over Center Street where the speed limit turns to 50. I do agree that the stretch of road needs more speed limit signs but I just have to say how annoying it is to get stuck behind someone who wants to drive 40 or 45 mph. Come on that is 15 under the speed limit. They should be given a ticket for going to slow. I also agree they need to widen the road to a 4 lane road all the way down to 5th South but what do you do? And if you pass someone on Redwood...watch out you'll most likely get a ticket. My favorite is when it finally does widen to the 4 lanes and you pass someone doing the actual speed limit or as you are going around them they flip you off... um excuse me???? I wave and smile, if I have time too.

Another road that drives me nuts is Main Street in Centerville. The speed limit signs say 40 not 30. And there are 2 roads that when people are going North and turning right onto them from off of Main they turn from the left side of the road. I forgot the nam of the first road but the second one is Chase Lane (the first one is before Chase Lane). I love when people try to sneak up the side of your car (when there is clearly no room and then they honk at you to move out of their way) and as soon as they get up to the corner they swing wide left to turn right. It must be a requirement to live up either of those streets that you have to be incapable of making a normal right turn and you have to be as rude as possible! All I can say is LEARN TO DRIVE!
