WOW! Where has this summer gone? It has been a long HOT one here in Utah. Yesterday we hit day 20 of 100 plus degrees this summer. We have been busy with trips to the Library, Zoo, Mountains, swimming pool and splash pad. Along with evening fires in our fire pit- Yum, s'mores- we have enjoyed backyard movies on the big screen. I have been gardening, even in the heat, and taking care of our yard. Our peaches have come and gone and now we are just waiting on our apples. I really have not done a whole lot of crafting this summer, which makes me a little sad. BUT... thanks to Pinterest I have plenty of projects coming up. I am hoping once the kids are back in school and we are back to a "schedule" that I will have more time. It doesn't help that I have been consumed with Zumba either. Like I said I am settling back into a routine as the kids are getting ready to go back to school on Monday. So stay tuned for pictures of our projects. Oh, I did paint my kitchen last weekend but I haven't taken any pictures yet, mostly because I need to decorate it now. I may just have to get things cracking this weekend!

These are the BRR! blocks that I designed and made with my little sister Sarah. I found this picture and decided I might go dig them out of my January box and display them for this month. We warm up for a few days and then we are cold again for a week or two. That is Spring in Utah for ya!! I have more pictures that will be coming soon. I have been doing a lot of painting and decorating and crafting on these too-cold-to-go-out days!!

These darling little ants I bought last year to paint and decorate for summer. Last summer we moved twice in a short amount of time and then had a lot of work to do on our house, so I finally got around to getting these cute little bugs finished for this year. These are the only kind of ants that are allowed in our house ;)!! And they are only cute when they are not real/alive!!!
The last year or two I have been working on a bunch of different crafts. These are the wood crafts for St. Patrick's day. My kids love helping me change the decorations for the different seasons. I love making them smile and I love to craft, sew, scrapbook you name it I love it. Most of my crafts come from The Wood Connection and Heartland Paper Company but I do have ones I have designed and made all on my own as well.

It has been a crazy year or two. I think I need to start posting more of my crafts. We finally have our camera back from the shop so I will start taking more pictures and posting them. Sarah is now "Sister Peery". She is serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She received her call to go to the Independence Missouri Mission. So for now I am a soloist. I can't wait for her to return so we can continue to work on singing and the piano. Maybe I will have a piano by the time she gets home (wink! wink!)!!! We are working on finishing our basement, which means I will have a better spot to craft and blog. I should have taken pictures of the birthday cards I made before I sealed them up. You can always check our other two blogs to find out all the crazy things we are up too. (Operation Blanket Drop and Haag Family). I promise I will get pictures of crafting up soon.
